POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent in this position is responsible for greeting Guests, arranging for prompt seating, and for ensuring Guests feel welcome and comfortable. As a host the primary duties are to greet and seat Guests, but also supports the restaurant in other capacities such as bussing, table maintenance, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of the restaurant.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Provide information on all aspects of the property services and facilities for Guests.
- Greets Guests and arranges for seating, monitors room atmosphere.
- Quote accurate waiting times and handles Guest waiting lists or reservations in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain a well-groomed neat and clean appearance, carrying out duties with attention to sanitation safety.
- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
- Answer phones according to established procedures.
- Communicate with co-workers and Supervisor to ensure quality service.
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The skills and abilities necessary for effective performance within this position are typically acquired through one-year guest service experience. Prior restaurant experience is helpful.
