Scelzi Enterprises, Inc. is hiring for our La Salle, CO location. We are looking to hire MIG Welders for our Mounting Department. The job requires the candidates to fit, weld, and fabricate as needed to mount bodies as per specs. Candidate must also inspect completed work to make sure bodies are fitted properly, and make sure all the proper documentations and weight certification stickers are made for the unit.

Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal parts for truck body up-fitting.
- Use hand-welding or flame – cutting equipment to weld truck bodies by joining sheet metal components
- Install and repair various equipment and components as needed
- Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Read and understand work orders
- Work independently
- Use basic tools such as ratchets, wrenches, pliers, sockets, and air tools to grind materials, square parts/materials to fit accordingly, and cut or shorten parts/materials as needed per blue prints
- Use any combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or computer technologies to install truck body
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
- Familiarity with MIG welding tools and procedures
- Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
- Ability to handle physical workload; lift up to 50 lbs periodically
- Must have valid driver's license.
- Must pass hair follicle drug test and pre-placement physical.
- Must pass basic math test and weld test.
