What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Assistant position at Scenic Eye Care?
A small growing private practice is looking for an energetic, compassionate, positive, hard working and dependable person to join our eye care team. We provide vision care to the surrounding community. Prior experience or medical background is preferred. Position requirements include ability to multi-task, ability to communicate effectively, possesses attention to detail, willingness to learn and be a team player. Primary duties include greeting patients in a warm and welcoming manner, answering phones, scheduling patients, insurance verification and authorizations, pretesting, assisting the doctor, and general office duties. Other duties include adjusting glasses, repairing glasses, placing orders, and checking orders.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 38 per week
