Responsibilities
As Director of Nursing, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading our Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standard guidelines.
- Coordinating nursing services and other resident services to ensure world-class care.
- Assisting the Discharge Planning Coordinator to ensure smooth discharges for residents.
- Participating in resident admission processes through interviewing and selection.
- Performing daily rounds to observe residents and ensuring nurses have necessary resources.
- Monitoring medication distribution and treatment schedules to guarantee actions are performed as required.
- Ensuring weekend coverage and on-call duties are handled.
- Implementing and maintaining onboarding and orientation for new nurses.
- Participating in facility inspections by authorized government agencies.
