he Holiday Inn Express and Suites Houston Medical Center is now accepting resumes and applications for the role of Assistant General Manager. The primary responsibilities for this position will be focused on routine operational tasks and supervising others in their assignments to insure hotel consistency in quality and standards, developing and training employees and exceeding guest expectations of this very busy fast paced hotel.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of two years in a Supervisory or Management position.
- IHG/Opera PMS experience is preferred.
- Promote a positive and accommodating attitude while interacting with both employees and guests.
- Schedules and assigns duties to staff and observes performance to ensure adherence to hotel and management company policies.
- Maintains accurate records including direct bill accounts, credit card receipts and cash flow records.
- Selects or assists in the selection of hotel staff and completes all new hire paperwork and training.
- Ensure the adherence of all franchise and company procedures and standards.
- Provides a professional image at all time through appearance and dress.
- Be available for all three shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Be able to manage the entire staff in the absence of the General Manager.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
