What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Clinical Counselor position at Scenic Rivers Health Services?
We are currently seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to see patients at our Bigfork, MN clinic. This position will work closely with our mental health and primary care providers to create a true healthcare home. Onsite therapy and telehealth therapy will be provided to patients. Qualified candidates who are a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) are preferred. A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) will be considered.
A flexible work schedule is dependent on provider preference: primarily out of Bigfork clinic but may rotate to our clinics in Northome and Floodwood once per week. We also consider part or full-time employment.
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will assist patients with the management of substance abuse, mental health issues, as well as assisting with social service needs. The position includes counseling services. The provider is encouraged to collaborate with primary care providers who are on-site as well as local health and human services, community resources, referral resources, and assistance programs.

We use GE Centricity as our electronic health record (EHR) system for all documentation. EHR training and implementation of mental health documentation will be provided.
