Inventory Control Specialist

INVENTORY CONTROL SPECIALIST

We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of our inventory, investigate discrepancies and irregularities, reconcile errors, and document inventory findings. The IC Specialist will report directly to the warehouse manager and will be collaborating with finance and supply chain on a daily basis.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy across multiple warehouses .
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the supply chain and logistic team to allow smooth execution of contract manufacturing operations
• Analyze inventory trends and provide recommendations to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Assist in the development of inventory control procedures to improve efficiency.
• Work closely with finance to resolve inventory-related issues.
• Support the implementation of new inventory management tools and technologies.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions in the ERP and WMS system.
• Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control policies and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Support year-end physical inventory counts and end of month closings
• May be trained to use lift equipment to perform cycle counts

What You’ll Need to Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Proficiency in ERP, (e.g., NetSuite, or similar), WMS and spreadsheet programs (MS Excel / Google Sheet)
• English is mandatory – Spanish is a plus.
