Job Summary
The Manager of Buying, Sourcing, Planning, and Logistics will develop and execute procurement, sourcing, planning, and logistics strategies to drive business growth, optimize efficiency and ensure supply chain excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Buying and Sourcing
- Implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Evaluate and manage suppliers for quality, reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Planning
- Develop demand forecasting and planning processes.
- Analyze market trends, sales data and inventory levels.
- Optimize inventory management.
Logistics
- Manage domestic and international supply chain / logistics.
- Implement logistics strategies for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Manage logistics provider relationships.
Leadership and Management
- Lead a team of buying, sourcing, planning and logistics professionals.
- Provide coaching, training and development.
- Foster collaboration and innovation.
Analytics and Reporting
- Analyze supplier performance, logistics data and market trends.
- Develop reports on procurement, sourcing, planning and logistics metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, planning and logistics.
