Description
Scentsy is looking for a Security Specialist to play a critical role in helping us provide security and safety for all Scentsy employees, facilities, and product. Our Security Specialists are also responsible for ensuring security and safety protocols are followed at all Scentsy facilities, by all employees and guests.
Hours are: 6:00am-2:00pm M-F
What You Will Do:
- Patrol Scentsy facilities on foot, in vehicle, and by camera
- Provide parking lot security for employees arriving and leaving Scentsy facilities
- Monitor security and safety protocols, ensuring they are properly followed
- Handle activation/deactivation of employee access badges
- Investigate accidents and security incidents
- Assist employees, Scentsy leaders, consultants, and guests with a high level of customer service
- Assist Facilities team with various maintenance and janitorial tasks and projects
- Remove trash from in and around the interior and exterior of all Company buildings and grounds
- Maintain building space in a clean, organized, and orderly fashion
- Coordinate the ordering of office and janitorial supply needs for the facility; restock supplies in common areas as needed
- Participate in security preparation for off-site Scentsy events
- Coordinate janitorial and maintenance work with vendors as needed
- Sweep floors, clean spills, and operate trash compactor as needed
- Assist team members with projects as needed
- Set up, arrange, and remove tables, chairs, ladders, scaffolding, and decorations to prepare facilities for events
- Notify manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed
We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some security or closely related experience preferred
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- CPR Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Clear and direct communication skills—both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work well with others
- Working knowledge of computers and all applicable software including security equipment, radio, passenger vehicle, as well as other office equipment (printer, copier, fax machine, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to administer first aid, CPR and AED to Scentsy employees and guests
- Ability to stay calm and think clearly in stressful situations
- Ability to physically restrain a violent subject if needed
- Sit, stand, bend, lift up[ to 50 lbs and walk for extended periods of time—running may be occasionally required
