Senior Groundskeeper

Scentsy is looking for an Senior Groundskeeper to assist the Head Groundskeeper in beautifying the outdoor areas of all Scentsy-owned properties.

What You Would Do:

• Operate landscape equipment including, but not limited to: skid steer, mini ex, lawn maintenance equipment, power shears, application spray equipment, etc.
• Ensure the growth and vibrancy of our plants, flowers, lawn, and decorative shrubs by applying an integrated pest management
• Fertilize lawns and plants
• Pick up trash, debris, and other miscellaneous materials from the grounds
• Ensure employee safety during inclement weather by removing debris, snow, and ice from communal walkways and spaces as needed
• Help others in the facilities department as needed, including after-hours events as needed
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

You Should Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 years of related experience
• A passion for working outdoors and satisfaction from a job well done
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, required

Things You Should Know & Be Able to Do:

• Expert knowledge of landscaping equipment, power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment
• Expert knowledge of plant care and maintenance
• Expert knowledge of the proper use, application, and storage of fertilizers and pesticides
• Knowledge and experience installing or maintaining sprinkler systems are a plus
• Knowledge and experience installing landscaping such as pavers, plants, and sod are a plus
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, stand, walk, push, and pull up to 100 lbs., reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible and perform manual dexterity
• Ability to ascend and descend stairs, step stools, ladders, scaffolding, platform ladders, or mechanically elevated devices and be comfortable around heights
• Ability to occasionally sit, climb, crawl, and kneel
• Ability to lift 100 pounds repeatedly daily
• Ability to frequently read, comprehend, write, perform basic mathematic calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze

Salary : $20 - $26
