Hiring Range $13.01 to $16.92
Pay Range $13.01 to $18.87
Summary of Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Healthcare Assistant is responsible for developing leadership capacity, academic excellence, and employability skills in health and business-related careers through participation in a variety of work, academic, professional and life building skills and experiences. By the end of the program cycle apprentices are expected to demonstrate proficiency in workforce competencies.
Qualifications:
- Must be fourteen to seventeen (14-17) years of age upon hire,
- Currently enrolled in High School at the time of hire OR a GED program, OR equivalent
Native Preference:
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
Employee Health Requirements:
Compliance with our Employee Health Procedure is a condition of SCF employment. You are required to agree that you will comply with all job-related employee health screening and immunizations prior to your first day of employment. Jobs designated as a Health Care Personnel (HCP) position, requires that you have documentation that you have completed the following immunizations prior to your first day of employment: MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Influenza, T-dap (Tetanus - Diphtheria - Pertussis), and COVID-19 vaccination is required.
