Sr Associate, Construction Litigation

Our client, a boutique law firm in Melville with a 20 year history of exceptional insurance defense and professional liability and litigation, is looking for a Senior Associate with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in construction litigation and insurance defense (representation of architects, engineers and land surveyors who are involved in construction projects, construction defect claims, etc. in a HUGE plus).
For this role, you need to be experienced in conducting depositions, all phases of written discovery, production of extensive project records and motions, and appear for Court conferences as necessary, as you will be expected to handle the day-to-day activities on the assigned matter. This role requires an onsite / in-office daily presence, strong interpersonal and written communication skills, and a team-oriented work capability.
Salary for this opportunity is $130k-$175k (based on experience) and includes medical / dental / vision coverage with heavy contribution, 401k with contribution, FSA, 3-weeks PTO, and a low hourly billable minimum.
