We are adding an Engineering Technical Specialist to our staff of experienced, dedicated professionals who take a systematic, thorough approach to evaluating technical issues. This position will be responsible for managing and processing data collected by Project Engineers including maintaining data collection equipment and managing software licenses to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities of the Engineering Technical Specialist:
- Support lead Project Engineers with data management, project planning, and scheduling.
- Assist with research and the collection of data, including internet-related searches.
- Process and analyze data from 3D scanners and drone imagery.
- Utilize photogrammetry software and techniques to generate 3D models, animations, and visual representations of vehicles and accident scenes.
- Interpret survey data, reports, aerial photographs, and satellite images to support project analysis.
- Review and analyze video footage from vehicles and surveillance cameras for project insights.
- Assist in performing mathematical calculations related to geospatial and engineering data.
- Maintain and manage equipment, including calibrations and software licenses.
- Assist team members with evidence collection, organization, and storage.
Minimum Requirements of the Engineering Technical Specialist:
- Associate’s or Technical Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), or a related field in Math, Science, or Computer Technology.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to data processing and analysis.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of drafting, CAD techniques, design principles, and engineering terminology.
- Ability to organize, manage, and maintain engineering data, reports, and systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical information to project engineers and clients.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to acquire a Remote Pilot Certification and to operate a small aerial drone (FAA Small UAS Rule Part 107) – expense and time reimbursed.
- Willingness to operate a 3D scanner.
