Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in basic mechanical skills (dock and door experience preferred).

· General electrical knowledge.

· Ability to safely operate a scissor lift and lift truck.

· Strong communication skills.

· Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.

· Drug-free & able to pass mandatory background checks

· Safe driving record is required.

· Basic computer skills (Microsoft “Office” products preferred).

Responsibilities

· Install, repair, and maintain commercial dock and door equipment.

· Diagnose equipment issues and provide effective solutions in a professional manner.

· Ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly and logged appropriately.

· Obtain estimates and order parts as necessary.

· Utilize hand and power tools to perform installations and repairs.

· Ensure a high level of communication and coordination with office staff.

· Creative problem-solving, troubleshooting & conflict resolution.

· Anticipating potential issues & addressing them in advance.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
