Prolonged periods of standing; lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team at Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures. The ideal candidate will have the ability to assemble electrical enclosures, install sub panels, and perform other various hardware tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- • Performs processes to complete enclosure assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic tooling
• Prepares finished product by checking for defects in detail and/or cosmetic appearance
• Reports defective materials or questionable quality conditions to the department SME
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
• Follows all required safety procedures
Required Skills/Abilities:
- • Ability to follow established SOP's and Work Instructions
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and ability to use them effectively
• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced team environment
• Detail-oriented and thorough with ability to read a tape measurer
• Ability to complete required paperwork accurately
