Job Summary
The Industrial Design Internship is a detail-oriented role to assist our design and engineering teams with creating and updating technical drawings and models. This internship provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, working with experienced professionals to develop real-world CAD skills while contributing to active projects.
Duties/Responsibilities
Assist in creating and modifying 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Collaborate with engineers and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical models.
Review and update existing drawings to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
Organize and maintain drawing files, documentation, and revision history.
Support the engineering team in resolving design-related issues and incorporating feedback.

Participate in design meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in drafting, CAD technology, engineering technology, or a related field.
Basic proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is required.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking 8-10 hours depending on the task.
Must be able to lift, up to 50lbs., on occasion.
The use of approved Safety Glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots are required.
Gloves may be required depending on certain tasks assigned.
