JOB DESCRIPTION:
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves. Stock incoming supplies, fill and issue inventory for Pick Lists and manufacturing supplies. Perform cycle counts, monitor inventory. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects. Receive and count stock items and record data. Coordinate with other team members, departments, and managers to handle product transfers as needed for daily shipments. Ensure product is skidded safely and securely.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
This position requires solid computer skills and the ability to learn new software. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and twisting, and long periods of time in a standing or walking position. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and time management skills, static strength, and manual dexterity. Must be able to follow directions and work in a fast paced, team environment. Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Assist other team members in preparing skids for shipments, help in lifting heavy or awkward boxes from the conveyors. Forklift certification is required.
