Overnight baker

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high quality and consistency in every product. This position requires the ability to work independently and work in an environment with timelines.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, pies, buns, donuts and cookies.
• Fry donuts
• Shaping and proofing product
• Decorate donuts using glaze, icing and other toppings
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Ensure that bakery department is ready for daily store opening and all special orders are ready for pick up
• Remove expired product from shelf

This position is offered as either part-time or full-time based on the applicants availability, desire and scheduling restrictions. Working several weekends will be required. The scheduled shift will be 10pm-6am, with some scheduling flexibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
