Your Key Responsibilities
- Single point of contact for relationship management / dispute resolution between supplier and plant.
- Lead the prototype commodity and supports purchasing manager / director in strategic planning processes and project management.
- Monitor costs and status of negotiations, contract status, and percent of spend under contract, while maintaining and ensuring agreements remain active and in place.
- Develop and drive price reductions within the commodity.
- Negotiate with supplier to acceptable pricing levels and onboarding.
- Secure required approvals for awards and issue purchase orders to the supply base.
