Your Key Responsibilities
- Create and enforce intellectual property rights for the company in current and future business operation countries, ensuring no infringement of third-party intellectual property in assigned cases.
- File and prosecute patent and trademark applications for assigned cases and Schaeffler entities at the respective patent offices.
- Maintain an IP portfolio for assigned technology areas, in alignment with the determined strategy.
- Provide advice and support on IP matters for assigned Schaeffler entities.
- Collaborate with national and international external service providers, especially patent attorneys, to prosecute, defend, and enforce intellectual property rights.
- Assist in preparing overviews of existing IP rights, addressing legal disputes, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring patent terms
- Juris Doctorate degree completed
- Strong knowledge in intellectual property law.
- Relevant experience in filing and prosecuting patents and trademarks.
- Excellent communication skills for providing advice and collaborating with external service providers.
- Ability to manage an IP portfolio and contribute to risk assessments and legal disputes.
