Your Key Responsibilities
- Sets up, programs and/or operates machines for production and assembly as assigned.
- Set up the machine and check accuracy and effectiveness in test sequences.
- Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure.
- Operate the machines and support Operators in operating the machines.
- Cooperate with maintenance staff, if necessary.
- Check finished product/product component and submit for approval.
- Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English
- Ability to operate complex machinery for use in inspection
- Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
- 1 - 2 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically working with and operating complex machines
- Experience working with power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Can troubleshoot and correct complex problems
- Can be the "go to" person for their areas
- Salary Range: $22.70 - $25.55/per hour
- 2nd and 3rd shift premium available
- Employee will train on 1st and move to 2nd or 3rd shift as business needs require
