SCC is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join our team! We are looking for someone who is passionate about the industry and looking to create impact in their next role. The Senior Copywriter will be partnered with a Senior Art Director to be a brand steward, give brands voice and relevance, and bring big ideas to life through conceptual work across social, broadcast, and online video environments.
This person will help us craft strategically focused and creative concepts across a wide range of clients. In addition to creating inspiring work, you should be confident presenting concepts to internal teams and clients in a compelling way.

Responsibilities
- Partner with a Senior Art Director to develop next-level creative concepts that align with the brand vision and audience across various mediums including digital, social, content, and experiential
- Understand input from Creative Directors and clients and apply feedback to creative executions
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members on briefs and pitches
- Confidently present work and sell ideas through strategic storytelling in client presentations
- Be a constant student of our clients; have knowledge of the marketplace that our clients operate in and understand the competitive landscape
- Continuously study our clients’ industries, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform creative strategies
- Remain up to date on cultural and business trends
- Be agile and adaptable in response to changing client needs and deadlines.
Requirements
- 4 – 7 years of relevant experience as a Copywriter
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual abilities, exceptional writing skills, and experience developing ideas from concept to execution
- Strong collaborator with a positive mindset and growth mentality
- Proficient in Mac OSX and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
- Ability to connect with and create for diverse audiences, bringing a global perspective to your work
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
