Responsibilities : Under the direction of the CCBHC Director, the program manager oversees the health and mental health services provided to all individuals open in the CCBHC program. The program manager supervises the administrative assistant, clinicians, care coordinators, medical assistant, case managers and / or peer support staff to ensure quality service delivery of the CCBHC’s 9 core services and meeting SAMHSA’s contract obligations for the CCBHC program. The program manager also coordinates and provides oversight to the clinical and administrative functions that impact all CCBHC services.

Founded by two African American psychiatrists who were disillusioned with the traditional services provided to severely and persistently mentally ill individuals who are members of minority groups, they targeted this population, along with homeless mentally ill and homeless dually diagnosed.
The SCHARP mission is to provide quality mental health and social services to vulnerable populations in South Los Angeles.
