What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Classroom Teacher position at Schaumburg Community Consolidated School District 54?
10-month, full-time position
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and foster a positive relationship with each student and their parent/guardians,
- Participate in the Child Study Team and complete IEP paperwork on Infinite Campus,
- Teach any subject area or grade level as directed by the Assistant Superintendent of Student and Administrative Services and building principal,
- Using best practice strategies and District Directed curriculumand programs,
- Analyze student performance in relation to grade level peers in order to determine a student's appropriate opportunities for mainstreaming,
- Biweekly progress monitors all student IEP goals and record data on google in a graph format for easy access by other staff serving student.
Requirements: Valid Illinois State Special Edcuation Professional Educator License, LBS1 or Special Education endorsement.
