Additionally, the Schaumburg Park District hosts thousands of visitors and guests annually at its activities and major tournaments.
JOB SUMMARY
The Concession Manager oversees food service operations at two important locations: The Sport Center Grill and Olympic Park Concessions. At peak season, our concessions operations may have up to 40 part time employees. The Concession Manager is responsible for ensuring overall smooth-running food service operations at both locations, including staffing, training, scheduling, food inventory, ordering/purchasing, receiving deliveries, food quality and preparation, customer service, and cleanliness.
QUALIFICATIONS
The best applicants will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) along with prior food service industry experience (supervisory experience preferred). Qualified candidates must have strong skills in planning, organizing, communicating, leadership, and time management. Reliable personal transportation and a valid Illinois drivers’ license a must. Sufficient physical ability along with the ability to obtain Food Sanitation Manager Certification within 6 months of employment required.
SCHEDULING & PAY
This is year-round part-time position, approximately a 27-hour a week. Must be able to work a varied schedule mainly during weekends and occasional holiday(s), based on business need. Pay rate is $19-$22/hour, DOQ (depending on qualifications).
