Schechter Boston is looking for a dynamic and engaging educator to teach Hebrew for the 2025-2026 academic year. The specific grade level of the position will be determined based on need later this spring.
Job Description
Design, plan and implement lessons that motivate students and create active learning experiences.
Prepare and implement differentiated instruction, activities and assessments that meet the needs of every student.
Collaborate with the Hebrew team to design curriculum, assessments, and work on teaching strategies.
Build relationships with all students, so they are actively engaged in the classroom activities.
Create and maintain a safe, well-structured physical environment that is conducive to student learning.
Requirements
Native Hebrew Speaker
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of two years experience teaching students, preferably in an elementary school setting.
Exemplary teaching skills.
