Responsibilities:
Process all defective products for the store. Call vendors, request Return Authorizations, send products to vendors or dispose of properly
Keep an up to date list of the vendor contacts
Process overage on products distributed for donations
Manage daily shipping for the store, for both customers, web and inter store purchases
Track packages for customers and store shipments
Assist in web store fulfillment
Maintain and keep shipping supplies stocked
Accurately process customer special orders (OMS system), ensuring correct discounts, pricing and/or arrangements and shipping details are properly applied to orders
Initiate contact with vendors or other Scheels stores to secure desired product upon direction by corporate team
Communicates with customers in regards to shipping dates, stock availability, and any possible delays or backorders Answers customer questions and responds to customer requests in a timely manner
Work closely with the Freight and Accounts Payable teams
Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
Ability to perform basic math; compute rate, ratio and percent; draw and interpret bar graphs
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers and other employees
Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail and problem solving skills
Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphere
Exercise judgment and tact while working with customers or co workers
Strong oral/written communication and reading skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all levels of the organization
Ability to work assigned schedules which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
Compensation:
- Compensation for this position can range from 19 /h depending on experience and skills.

Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
Medium work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.

Schedule:
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9a.m. and 9p.m., Monday through Saturday, 11a.m. and 7p.m., Sunday. Average hours per week is 41 hours.
