Overview:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing digital event promotion across all new and existing SCHEELS markets. This includes event email marketing, event ticket and contest registration pages on scheels.com, QR codes, and select digital design projects. The role requires a strong understanding of performance analytics to enhance customer experiences and using data to create detailed recaps of digital event marketing campaigns. The position will collaborate with a wide variety of teams across the company, particularly local store Marketing teams, and campus Marketing and E-commerce teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and evaluate event email marketing on behalf of all SCHEELS locations
- Create customer-facing digital event materials, including event ticket registration, contest sign-up pages, and event blog pages on scheels.com
- Lead all QR code creation and tracking, collaborating with a wide variety of teams, including in-store display, human resources, and more, to fulfill all QR code company needs
- Serve as a key liaison between store marketing teams and the corporate campus, fostering strong relationships to collaborate on overall event promotion strategy as well as quick-turn solutions
- Partner with internal teams (store Marketing teams, campus Marketing and ECOM teams), seeking input to shape digital event strategy, alignment with overall Marketing campaign objectives, and future direction
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to optimize performance and prepare detailed recap reports
- Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging trends to keep digital event marketing campaigns current and innovative
- Self-motivated and highly organized with strong time management skills

Education & Experience:
- Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred; and at least 1-3 years of experience in a digital marketing role.
