What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service / Order Processor position at Scheid Produce?
Scheid Produce is seeking an efficient and accurate customer service representative to process telephone orders and assist walk-in customers. This is a full time position, with an average of 40 hours a week. Monday – Friday, weekends, and varied schedules as needed. Customer service is open from 5:30am – 4:30pm M-F and Sunday 5pm-9pm. This position requires someone who is very flexible to cover all shifts when needed.
Responsibilities:
Answer telephone and route calls
Process customer orders
Prepare invoices and shipping documents
Greet and wait on walk-in customers
Perform various duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Good telephone etiquette
Ability to multi-task
A pleasant personality
Detail oriented
Team player
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends
Resolve customer complaints and concerns
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion
Maintain communication with other departments including sales, warehouse and accounting
Generate customer invoices and oversee pricing to ensure accuracy
