Landscape Service Technician

Schellhorn Grounds Services LLC seeks a dedicated and skilled Landscaper Service Technician to join our team. Our Yard is in Cedar Grove, NJ(405 Little Falls Rd).  As a Landscaper Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of commercial and residential properties through various landscaping tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a passion for working outdoors in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform various landscaping tasks, including mowing, weed wacking, trimming, pruning, planting, and mulching.

2. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as lawnmowers, weed wackers, trimmers, and blowers.

3. Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and to client specifications.

4. Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address potential landscaping needs or issues.

5. Maintain accurate records of services performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance.

6. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on job sites.

7. Interact with clients professionally and courteously, addressing concerns and providing updates on project progress.

8. Assist in the installation of hardscapes, such as pavers, retaining walls, and irrigation systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, plant identification, and landscaping techniques is a plus

• Experience operating and maintaining landscaping equipment.

• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, and weather-changing environment

• Paid by direct deposit weekly

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to speak and communicate in English(bilingual is a plus)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving company vehicles)
