Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Planning

  • Manage and oversee multi-million dollar construction projects, ensuring they remain on budget and on schedule.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, and requirements, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Budgeting and Scheduling

  • Prepare and monitor project budgets, tracking all expenditures and reporting variances.
  • Oversee all aspects of project scheduling, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to deadlines.
  • Order and purchase necessary materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.

Bidding and Estimating

  • Prepare and manage project bids and RFPs; estimating experience is preferred to support accurate project costing and pricing.
  • Review and submit detailed bid proposals, aligning with customer specifications and project goals.

Contract Management and Documentation

  • Prepare and deliver project contracts and change orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFPs, RFIs, and change orders, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and accessible.

Project Quality and Safety

  • Ensure that all project work meets the company’s high standards for quality and complies with safety protocols.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and implement any necessary corrective actions to maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field OR 5 years in construction project management, with proven success managing multi-million dollar projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software, especially Procore and Submittal Exchange.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Projects
  • Knowledge of RFPs, RFIs, change orders, and other industry-standard documentation.
  • Estimating experience is preferred.
  • Must be highly reliable with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Self-starter with excellent follow-through and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, able to work well independently and in team settings.
  • Visionary mindset, capable of planning strategically and solving problems proactively.

Additional Information:

  • Salary: Dependent on education and experience; Salary range is $65,000-100,000
  • Work Environment: Primarily in the office or on-site at construction locations
  • Schedule: Typically Monday – Friday, 45 hours per week, but will depend on project schedule; Overnight travel is expected less than 10% of time
