Schenectady Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is a 240-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Schenectady, NY. We are currently seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Unit Manager.
About the Job:
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. As an RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, and mentoring less experienced nurses. You will also have the opportunity to help establish and implement employee policies and procedures, as well as review resident records and quality of care.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must hold a valid State RN License and have at least 3 years of Long Term Care Experience. A minimum of 2 years of Charge Nurse experience is preferred, but not required. Strong computer skills and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
