Schenkel Shultz, a leading Central Florida architectural and interior design studio, is seeking a professional, detail-oriented individual to serve as receptionist and administrative support for our team. This individual will be a first impression to all visitors and callers to the firm. They will also support a number of critical administrative functions that are necessary to the organization’s successful daily operations.
Responsibilities
• Open and close the office daily during normal business hours of 8a ‐ 5p
• Greet and assist all guests and visitors to the Winter Park studio
• Answer and direct calls for all Schenkel Shultz offices
• Order and restock supplies for all offices
• Check and distribute mail daily
• Maintain kitchen area (clean, restock items, prep coffee, etc)
• Order catering for meetings and events
• Set up FedEx deliveries, courier services, travel arrangements
• Assist firm leadership with any/all administrative tasks requested
Qualifications
• Exhibits maturity and professionalism
• Positive/friendly attitude
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Completes tasks, without requiring regular follow-up from supervisors
• Attention to detail (checks work to ensure accuracy)
• Self-motivated
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
