ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accurately relabel packages as required to ensure proper tracking and delivery.
- Verify and upload all receiving paperwork accurately into our CAQ and QAD systems, ensuring complete traceability and compliance.
- Efficiently organize and stage shipments in designated areas in preparation for dispatch.
- Conduct thorough scanning of all outbound shipments to maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Maintain orderly and complete documentation for all shipments to support quality control and traceability.
- Keep the shipping area and its surroundings clean and orderly, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Promptly notify the supervisor of any incidents resulting in damaged products to address and resolve quality issues
- Works according to Scherdel's quality and environmental system requirements, and customer quality requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of Logistics experience preferred
- Ability to take and pass forklift operator test to obtain license
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
- Attention to Detail - Ensuring accuracy in labeling, uploading documents, and scanning shipments requires a high level of detail orientation.
- Organizational Skills - Efficiently organizing and staging shipments demands strong organizational and planning skills.
- Problem Solving - Ability to quickly identify and address issues with damaged products or discrepancies in shipment documentation.
- Quality Control - Understanding and adhering to quality control procedures and environmental system requirements.
