Starting wage up to $22.00 per hour with opportunity for annual increases.
You’ll be part of a team assembling roof and floor trusses in a brand-new industrial production environment. Activities include using automated saws, layout tables, nail guns, part carts, and hand tools. You’ll need to work safely and work well with others. Physically, you’ll be moving carts, lifting pieces of lumber, and working on an elevated production table.
- Shift: 1st shift - Monday through Friday
- Wage: $22.00 per hour with opportunity for advancement
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembly of roof and floor trusses according to Standard work.
- Perform plate picker function.
- Pre-pick plate orders from plate pick lists.
- Prepare odd panels, ends, verticals, bearing block assemblies.
- Assist and support External set-up position as directed.
- Assist drivers in delivery and/or pickup of product and materials.
- Ride along on deliveries and returns as directed.
- Help load/unload jobs as directed.
- Perform outside stacker function as needed or directed.
- Stack and band trusses off assembly line.
- Make general plate repairs.
- Inspect for Quality issues or concerns and fix if possible or bring to assembly leads attention.
- Assist forklift operators as needed or directed.
- Assist with Cycle counts, and full inventories as directed.
