SCHERMER is hiring a Senior Designer ! The primary role of the Senior Designer is to ideate, design and deliver impactful creative solutions that address our clients’, and their audiences’, needs. You must be creatively curious, self-motivated and have the ability to juggle multiple projects with a focused attention to quality and detail. The Sr. Designer is responsible for contributing to the development, execution and evolution of concepts throughout all phases of a project. Reporting to the VP, Creative & Content, the Sr. Designer will work with our team of strategists, designers, copywriters and other production specialists.The Work : Contributes concepts and ideas that deliver on the client’s strategy and objectivesCommunicates clearly how proposed design solutions address customer and business needsCollaborates iteratively and often with Copywriters, Strategists, Information Architects, Developers, Project Managers and moreAbility to activate and extend client brands in a way that connects with target audiencesHas a strong creative competency in all mediums with the ability to design for omni-channel marketing tactics including digital and printComfort in collaboration through brainstorm and workshop environmentsUnderstanding and execution of UI design principles and best practicesAbility to ideate, design for, and / or produce motion graphics or prototypes using tools like Figma and After EffectsEnsures quality and preparation of deliverables for handoff to interactive developers, printers, clients, etc.Able to prepare creative or agency presentationsWhat we're looking for : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum of 5 years prior work experience in a marketing or creative agency is requiredMust be highly proficient in the Adobe Creative SuiteProficiency in Figma and FigJamStrong organizational skills and detail-orientedStrong portfolio that demonstrates design thinking and solutionsAbility to work independently, managing time effectivelyCommitment to collaboration with agency and / or client staffAbility to successfully present / sell conceptual ideas internallyCoordinate with account staff and strategists to interpret client needsAbout SCHERMER : SCHERMER is a Minneapolis-based integrated B2B marketing agency that is recognized locally and nationally as one of the best-of-the-best in B-to-B.
