Warehouse Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking and packing according to customer specifications.
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Palletize and shrink wrap drums, bags, and jerricans to pallets.
• Loading Semi-trucks and other vehicles with customer orders.
• Light warehouse and building maintenance and cleaning required.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and maintaining accurate records.
• Handle materials with care, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain an organized workspace.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to promote a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Must be Forklift certified.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 55 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Knowledge of materials handling best practices is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
