Position Overview:
SCHICK BUILD INC is seeking a Detail-Oriented Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative, organized, and client-focused individual with a passion for high detail residential projects and bespoke design. You will work directly with discerning clients to bring their visions to life, from initial consultations through final execution. As part of our team, you will help uphold our reputation for excellence by designing timeless, sophisticated spaces that embody our commitment to "Handcrafting America's Heartland"

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement:
• Meet new clients to understand their goals, preferences, and vision for their project.
• Lead in-depth discussions about project details, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and excellent service.
• Project Scope Definition:
• Collaborate with clients to define the scope, budget, and timeline of their project.
• Develop detailed proposals and ensure all aspects of the project are clearly outlined.
• Design Development:
• Create detailed, innovative, and luxurious designs tailored to each client’s needs.
• Prepare sketches, floor plans, mood boards, and other presentation materials to communicate concepts effectively.
• Select high-quality materials, finishes, furnishings, and decor to achieve cohesive and elegant results.
• Interior Design Expertise:
• Oversee the interior design process, ensuring every detail aligns with the client’s vision and the company’s luxury standards.
• Source unique and high-end building products, furniture, fixtures, and art to elevate each space.
• Ensure seamless integration of aesthetic elements with architectural and functional considerations.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
• Work closely with SCHICK BUILD INC's design and construction teams to ensure designs are executed to the highest standard.
• Attend site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to the design vision.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in luxury residential design.
• Strong creative vision and a passion for high-end, bespoke interiors.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with an eye for color, texture, and spatial harmony.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
