Maintenance Technician - Quick Lane Tire & Auto Center at Schicker Ford of St. Louis

Job Summary: 

Schicker Ford of St. Louis is currently seeking a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic Quick Lane Service Advisor to join our Quick Lane Team. Key Responsibilities: 

• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service. 

• Maintain and schedule service appointments. 

• Timely and consistent follow up on each repair, frequently keeping customers informed of progress. 

• Provide accurate estimates of repair/maintenance costs, detailing problems found and pertinent information with customers. 

• Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers. 

• Serve as the liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer. 

• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer. 

• Review and explain repairs and associated costs with customers; and perform an active delivery. 

Qualifications: 

• Positive attitude, strong teamwork and communication skills 

• Can work in a fast-pace environment, are organized and can manage time efficiently 

• Prompt, efficient and productive work manner 

• Energetic and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service 

• All employees will be required to pass a drug screen and background check before hiring. 

• High school diploma or equivalent 

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record 

• Automotive knowledge preferred but not required 

• Service Advisor: 1 year (Preferred) 

• Ford experience a plus! 

• Dealertrack/MyKaarma experience a plus!
