Schiffman’s Jewelers is a 5th generation family-owned company that specializes in jewelry and timepieces through personalized customer care, expert repair service, and curated collections from the world’s top brands. Schiffman's Inc. encompasses 4 distinct store brands including Schiffman's Jewelers, Schwarzschild Jewelers, Sylvan's Jewelers, and Shreve & Co.
The Marketing Associate is responsible for generating awareness of each store brand (4 in total) and enhancing our image through our websites and other special projects. This position will also assist us in creating a vision for our overall marketing and communications efforts and support the execution of our annual marketing plan across the organization.
This position will operate out of Schiffman's Inc's home office, located at 225 South Elm Street, Greensboro, NC. Occasional travel may be required throughout North Carolina, Virginia, South Carolina, and California. This is not a remote position.
Primary Relationships
This position reports to our Marketing Content Manager but will work collaboratively with the Marketing team and other members across the organization to promote our brand values and drive traffic to our stores.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Manage all the products on our websites including the accuracy of images, descriptions, filtering, tags, and categorization. Design and build collection pages and gift guides.
- Monitor price changes (from LightSpeed to Accumula to Shopify).
- Create and replace website banners, graphics, and events monthly.
- Assist with managing web freelancers (ADA compliance, content updates, etc.)
- Update company’s 4 blogs including writers’ briefs and scheduling.
- Coordinate with stores on e-commerce orders.
- Test web contact forms weekly and manage updates to navigation.
- Review websites for SEO, performance and content issues monthly.
- Deliver website performance reporting monthly.
- Assist with special projects as needed (promotions, photoshoots, etc.)
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree required in Business, Marketing, or related field of study.
- Minimum of 1-2 years related professional experience.
- Basic technical knowledge and understanding of web development. Shopify is a plus.
- Excellent project management and organization skills.
- Learns quickly and can change in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to work well with others and take in coaching from upper management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with luxury jewelry and timepieces
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, and LightSpeed is a plus.

Compensation
