We are growing at Schiffman's and looking for another member for our thriving Merchandising team.
The Merchandising Data Administrator is responsible for creating item SKUs, facilitating purchase orders, receiving product, transferring product to various store locations and product photography.
Requirements :
Primary Relationships
This position is part of our Merchandising team and reports to the Product Data Manager but will work collaboratively with other members across the organization to support merchandising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Receive new and consigned products and special orders from manufacturers into database and create corresponding SKUs and tags.
2. Assist with processing purchase orders for our 11 stores and brands.
3. Transfer product as requested.
4. Assist with product photography for websites and database.
5. Submit timely reports as assigned.
6. Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.).
Qualifications
- BS / BA degree required in Business, Merchandising or another related field
- Minimum 2 years related professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management and organization skills
- Learns quickly and able to change in fast paced environment
- Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work well with others and take in coaching from upper management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar technologies
- Experience with luxury jewelry and timepiece
Compensation : $16 - $18 / hr DOE
