As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of the organization's financial obligations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

• Invoice Processing : Manage the full cycle of accounts payable operations, including receiving, reviewing, coding, and processing invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Vendor Management : Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely payment processing.
• Reconciliations : Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness, investigating and resolving any discrepancies as necessary.
• Payment Processing : Coordinate and execute the payment process, including scheduling payments, preparing checks or electronic transfers, and ensuring adherence to payment terms and deadlines.
• Month-End Close : Support month-end and year-end close processes by providing accurate and detailed accounts payable reports and reconciliations.
• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes, improve efficiency, and enhance controls to mitigate risk.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal controls related to accounts payable operations including 1099 filings.
• Team Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, and other departments, to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Compensation : $20 - $24 / hr DOE
