Primary Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):
1. Sample Preparation: · Assist in sample preparation, labeling, and organization of laboratory materials 2. Physical Testing: · Perform routine physical testing of samples using basic laboratory equipment and standard operating procedures (e.g., sieve, wet sieve, bulk density, specific gravity, pH) 3. Particle Size Testing: · Prepare and analyze particle size testing utilizing Coulter and Malvern instrumentation 4. Communication: · Communicate test results to senior lab staff 5. Equipment Maintenance: · Perform basic equipment care and maintenance 6. Data Recording: · Record and maintain data logs accurately for test results and observations 7. Solution Preparation: · Prepare solutions needed for senior lab staff (e.g., mobile phase, ISTD) Housekeeping: · Maintain proper housekeeping in the laboratory 8. Support: · Support senior lab staff when instructed 9. Safety Compliance: · Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills Required:
· Education: · High School Diploma or GED · Licenses/Certificates: · Not specified · Experience: · 0-2 years of relevant lab experience · Skills: · Basic understanding of laboratory equipment and techniques · Strong attention to detail and organizational skills · Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) · Ability to work in a team and follow instructions · Basic math and computer skills · Strong communication skills · Physical Demands: · Standing for long periods · Lifting up to 45 lbs · Other: · Clear vision with the ability to see colors · Availability for shift, weekend, or overtime work · Ability to multitask · Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as dust masks and gloves for extended periods
