We are seeking to hire a recent graduate for the Supply chain department.

Buyer Position Overview:
The buyer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and maintaining inventory.
Buyer Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Purchase and expedite production inventory to meet production/MRP requirements.
- Daily orders review and follow up to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage inventory reduction projects to reach agreed targets.
- Liaison between internal Quality, Engineering teams with vendors
- Work with Quality team to resolve quality issues with vendor.
- Routine communication and vendor visit to build strong working relationships.
- Measure supplier performance to agreed (Key Performance Indicators) K.P. I’s
- Negotiate pricing to provide competitively priced products as per customer specifications.
- Reconciling Material usage
- Communicating with internal clients (Warehouse, Planning) to ensure materials availability for production.
- Optimizing the stock levels on site
- Co-ordinate the purchasing of all materials required by Production.
- Ensure that material ordering is within policy parameters thus maintaining agreed inventory levels.
- Manage, monitor, and report an optimal level of inventory to meet site KPI’s and production needs.
- Lead inventory and warehouse related projects.
- Support the Supply Chain team to meet budgeted targets.
Buyer Education/experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; in Business, supply chain and Customer service
- Relevant experience and a particular skill in a manufacturing setting, preferably GMP setting.
- Working Knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system is desirable.
- Good attention to details
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Preferred not necessary experience in purchasing Raw Material (Plastic, Stainless steel)
