To strengthen our team, we are looking for a structural engineer with an interest in solar energy.
Your tasks
As a structural engineer you will develop, design and calculate moveable and load-bearing structures of photovoltaic systems. You will be part of a highly motivated, agile and interdisciplinary team that includes physicists and energy engineers as well as mechanical, drive and electrical engineers. By developing, designing and implementing innovative solar concepts, you will be working at the cutting edge of technology, gaining new insights on a daily basis and continuously expanding your expertise. You will manage and develop projects worldwide and responsibly integrate them into the overall strategy of sbp sonne in close coordination with the management. You will be responsible for communicating with external partners and customers and will be an important sparring partner for your team.
Your Profile
- degree in civil or mechanical engineering
- several years of professional experience as structural engineer as well as a distinct knowledge of the FE method
- enthusiasm for renewable energies, especially solar energy
- experience in project management and working in interdisciplinary teams is an asset
- communication and leadership skills
- innovative thinking, creativity and the willingness to leave your own comfort zone
- excellent language skills of written and spoken English
