What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Support Specialist - Customer Service position at Schlegel Electronic Materials, Inc.?
Summary: Working in a team environment, the Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for processing and monitoring of sales orders, handling all forms of requests, and providing excellent service to our customers. Will need to be able to multitask and adapt quickly to workload demands.
Duties and responsibilities include the following but not limited to:
- Manages all sales contacts via phone/e-mail, including but not limited to, orders, quotations, expediting, and inquiries
- Provides direct support between the customer and the production team
- Interacts with account managers, logistics, and quality teams for production needs
- Works with the production planning and procurement teams for expediting orders
- Uses company formulas to determine and quote pricing to customers
- Navigates the ERP system for order processing, product quotes, part loading, and more
- Reviews and coordinates implementation of changes and updates to sales orders
- Investigates and responds to customers questions arising from receipt of product such as short shipment, damaged goods and/or paperwork inconsistencies in a professional and timely manner
- Updates and maintains customer information portals
- Prints forms and assembles sales order packets
- Knowledgeable and able to ensure compliance with company sales & marketing and export/import compliance policies
- Responsible for sales analysis reports, outstanding customer order listings, and other customer related reports
- Other duties as assigned

Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, internet software, and Microsoft Outlook.
Education/experience: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and other abilities:
Ability to deal with a high volume of emails and should have good organizations skills.
