Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively use various tools and equipment to perform landscaping and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care and landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for various maintenance tasks, including planting, weeding, and mulching.
- Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all tools and equipment used in maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the planning and execution of landscape projects as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all groundskeeping activities are completed efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in outdoor spaces.
