What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Schlotzsky's?
We are looking for a Baker to prepare different types of bread and a wide range of cookies, cinnabon and buns. Baker responsibilities include opening the bakery early in the morning and mixing dough. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis. Experience as a baker is not necessary as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Open the bakery early in the morning.
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools before use.
- Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
- Bake different bread types and cookies.
- Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking.
- Clean and maintain the bakery and equipment.
Skills
- Experience as a Baker is not necessary. Training will be provided.
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including oven, mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to mix dough and bake cookies and cinnabon.
- Time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work in early morning shifts
