- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Supervise junior staff members during busy periods to ensure efficient operations.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues when necessary.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is highly desirable.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
