Position Summary
The Assistant Manager is on the leadership team with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant along with other management and the General Manager. The Assistant Manager is expected to model SRG’s values and demonstrate enlightened hospitality in all actions and interactions in order to set the overall culture and tone in the restaurant.
Requirements include:

One year of restaurant management experience at a quality establishment. Floor managers are encouraged to apply. Fantastic servers and bartenders are also encouraged to apply

An enthusiasm for hospitality and constantly striving for guest satisfaction

A positive attitude towards fellow employees, strong leadership skills and attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment

Candidates should be highly organized and efficient

Excellent food and beverage knowledge

Flexible schedule (must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays)
Duties/Responsibilities include:

Reporting directly to the General Manager
-
Running the floor for breakfast, brunch or dinner services
-
Working with management to oversee daily restaurant operations
-
Managing front of house employees to ensure all aspects of service and operations are friendly, clear, full of leadership and fun.

Supports the back of the house team and chefs in maintaining the highest culinary standards

Creating a vigorous learning environment and guide professional development with staff while also continuing to develop restaurant management skills

Working with the GM and management to oversee the organization, efficiency and policies pertaining to service in the dining room

Working with Toast POS, OpenTable, TipHaus and 7shifts
-
Maintaining prime appearance and condition of the dining room and exterior of the restaurant
